What to bring for your trip
  • Fishing licenses - You will need to bring your fishing licenses unless you are
under 17 years of age .  If you do not have one, one can be purchased at Oak
Cove Marina where we will be launching, Gander Mountain,  Walmart, or any other
sporting good store.  Make sure that your fishing licenses has the freshwater fishing
endorsement on it so that you will be able to keep your fish.

  • Equipment and Tackle - We will furnish all rods, reels, tackle, and bait that you will
need on your trip.   If you want to bring your own trusty rod you may do so, but Lex's
Guide Service will not be responsible for any damage to your equipment.

  • Life jackets - We have life jackets that fit most all people.  Children 13
years old and younger are required by law to wear a life jacket at all
times.  If your bringing a child that is 13 years or  younger,  we prefer
that you bring a life jacket with them that fits comfortable so they can
    have a great day fishing.

  • Food and Drink - You will need to bring your own food and drinks.  If we are fishing
at Richland Chambers  we can take a break in the action and head to Oak Cove
Marina to have lunch.  Oak Cove also has a breakfast and dinner menu.  No
alcoholic beverages are allowed inside of Fairfield Sate Park.

  • Coolers - You will need to bring a cooler for your food and beverages.  I have a
small one on the boat that you can put drinks in if you need more room.  You will
also need a cooler to transport your catch of the day home.  I will give you any left
    over ice that I have.

  • Camera and Sunscreen - Don't forget to bring your camera or sunscreen.  We
will have a digital camera on board and can email you pictures from your trip.
